Based on prior investigations of the City’s beachline sewer system serving the lower Lovell Avenue pump station, the longevity and long-term integrity of the system is in need of reconfiguration and abandonment.
The City’s sewer system that serves the lower Lovell Avenue pump station needs to be rerouted due to its deteriorated condition. A City contractor will abandon the existing sewer main pipes, currently located in the west Eagle Harbor beach area, and reroute the pipes to a new sewer lift station on Wood Avenue. This will include individual residential side sewers.
Design is estimated to start late summer 2020 with construction in 2021-2022.
The City hosted an online webinar on July 8, 2020 to present the project concept. Click here to view a recording of the webinar and here to view the slide show presentation.
