Animal Licensing

The police station lobby is currently closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic except by appointment.

If you need an animal license, please complete this fillable form and submit it to us by mail with a check or money order payable to CoBI.  You may also call the station at 206-842-5211 to pay by credit card over the phone.  We anticipate being open again to the public after Governor Inslee moves the county into Phase 3.

Per Chapter 6.08 of the Bainbridge Island Municipal Code, owners of dogs must obtain a license (cat licensing is optional). There is a nominal one-time fee if your animal is spayed or neutered per the City's Fee Schedule.  If your animals is NOT spayed or neutered, the fee is $25 per year. If you need an animal license, please complete this fillable form and submit it to us by mail with a check or money order payable to CoBI.

Among other locations in the county, animal licenses can also be processed at the Day Road Animal Hospital, and the Humane Society in Silverdale.
