Boys and Girls Club of Bainbridge Island

The Boys and Girls Club of King County and Bainbridge Island provide deserving kids with the following:

  • Safe place to learn and grow
  • Ongoing relationships with caring, adult professionals
  • Life-enhancing programs and character development experiences
  • Hope and opportunity

The City of Bainbridge Island provides funding for the following two programs:

Kindergarten – 4th Grade Program

Every day after school, Club members can attend fun after-school programs at the Main Clubhouse! Boys & Girls Club staff pick the Club members up at Ordway Elementary School every afternoon, meet Club members there and escort them over to the Club (Blakely Elementary School and Wilkes Elementary School both have buses that stop in front of Ordway). Club members have the opportunity to eat a healthy snack provided by the Club, participate in Power Hour to get homework or silent reading done, join in group activities, play in the games room and participate in core Boys & Girls Club of America programs, like SMART girls, Club Tech and Healthy Habits.

5th Grade – 8th Grade Program

The Boys and Girls Club has an exciting after-school program on the Woodward Middle School campus for our older Club members! The cost to participate in this year's program is $125/session for each Club member. The $125 registration fee allows your student to participate in as many programs as they are interested in (from one to all) for each session. Your child will receive a Boys & Girls Club membership card which can be used at both the Woodward site and the Main Clubhouse on no-school days. Club members have the opportunity to eat a healthy snack provided by the Club, participate in Power Hour to get homework or silent reading done, engage in activities, play games and participate in core Boys & Girls Club of America programs, like Torch Club and Triple Play.
