Annual Sewer Mains Preservation Program

Project Description

The Annual Sewer Mains Preservation Program addresses system-wide sanitary sewer preservation projects. 

Typical projects include repair and / or replacement of aging infrastructure pipe, inflow-infiltration (I&I) elimination, and manhole repair, etc. Typical repairs are due to aging infrastructure, root intrusion, sulfide damage, corrosion, and damage caused by fats, oils, and grease (FOG).

Proposed Projects

  • 2017 thru 2018 - Complete emergency by-pass installation at Old Treatment Plant.
    • Design award - Spring 2018
  • 2017 thru 2018 - Complete sewer I&I Study.
  • 2017 thru 2018 - Complete telemetry upgrades for three sewer lift stations.

Completed

  • 2015 thru 2016 - Completed Lynwood ARV's and force main repairs
  • 2015 thru 2016 - Completed emergency by-pass installation at Lynwood
  • 2016 - Completed upgrades to three sanitary sewer lift station telemetry
  • 2016 - Completed sewer lateral repairs in Winslow
